Ben’s recent admission as a Fellow of the API comes as recognition for the contribution he has made to the API and more broadly to the property valuation industry.
“I have been involved in the property valuation industry for almost 20 years. Throughout that time, I have always searched for opportunities to advance the industry by providing training and mentoring to young valuers, sharing my expertise and knowledge through API discussion groups, providing assistance and advice on the API’s Technical Information Papers (TIPs) and educating fellow valuers on the rural and agribusiness sectors.” said Ben.
Ben has been involved in the Victorian State Conference, organising the rural and regional components, and has been delivered presentations at the conference. He is an active member of the Gippsland Valuers Discussion Group, where he regularly presents updates on the rural and agribusiness sectors.
Importantly, Ben is considered an expert in his field having focused on rural and agribusiness throughout his careers and has extensive experience in viticulture and valuation of vineyard properties. He has worked extensively in the more intensive industries such as poultry, nurseries, greenhouses and horticulture.
Ben joined IPN in November 2023, and has quickly embraced what the network has to offer an independent valuer with extensive local knowledge.
We congratulate Ben for his admission as Fellow of the API and thank him for the contribution he has made to the property valuation industry.
