What We Do

Tax Depreciation Schedules are suitable for all investment properties, whether residential, commercial, or rural as they often all come with a range of fixtures and fittings that are subject to wear and tear over time. In order to claim depreciation on investment property assets, property owners need to obtain a depreciation schedule from IPN Valuers.  In this schedule IPN valuers will outline the value of each asset, its useful life, and the depreciation rate that can be claimed.

Depreciation can be claimed on a range of fixtures and fittings in investment properties, including:  

  • Carpets
  • Curtains
  • Air conditioning units
  • Hot water systems
  • Ovens
  • Dishwashers
  • Other appliances

Additionally, commercial and rural properties may have depreciation available for items such as:

  • Fencing
  • Sheds
  • Other structural improvements.
